National Down Syndrome Awareness Month
October is National Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Down Syndrome occurs when an individual has a full or partial extra copy of chromosome 21. http://www.ndss.org/ 90% of those who test positive for the extra chromosome in prenatal testing are aborted.
